Top 10 New Books at CA Library

Last month we added over 500 new books to the Academy Library collection — this week, I got a chance to add them to our LibraryThing collection as well.

One of the cool things about LibraryThing is you can see how popular the books in your own collection are, based on how many other LibraryThing users have the same books in their own collections. So here are the Top 10 Most Popular Books we added in September, along with the number of users who also have each title:

  1. The Help by Kathryn Stockett (11,293)

  2. The Sandman, Vol. 2: The Doll’s House by Neil Gaiman (4,985)

  3. What Color Is Your Parachute? 2012: A Practical Manual for Job-Hunters and Career-Changers by Richard N. Bolles (2,226)

  4. A Dance with Dragons: A Song of Ice and Fire: Book Five by George R.R. Martin (1,918)

  5. Pirate Latitudes: A Novel by Michael Crichton (1,399)

  6. Revelations (Blue Bloods, Book 3) by Melissa de la Cruz (1,361)

  7. The 8th Confession (Women’s Murder Club) by Robert Patterson (1,275)

  8. Dead Reckoning (Sookie Stackhouse, Book 11) by Charlaine Harris (1,230)
