New Books — Series Fiction

Welcome back for another exciting school year! We’ve been busy scheduling classes for freshman orientation and research, as well as ordering new books and getting them ready to go on the shelves!

Today’s post focuses on some of the latest books in series that we are following for the CA Library collection…

Push / Eve Silver (The Game, Book 2) — Miki Jones continues to fight the aiens threatening to invade Earth, but begins to doubt the intentions of the Committee who send teams on these missions.

The Burnouts / Lex Thomas (Quarantine, Book 3) — In this final installment of the Quarantine trilogy, David and Will are alive, but on the outside of McKinley High, while Lucy is the last of the trinity left inside to deal with Hilary, who will exact revenge before taking over McKinley High.

The Infinite Sea / Rick Yancey (The 5th Wave, Book 2)Cassie Sullivan and her companions lived through the Others’ four waves of destruction. Raging Star / Moira Young (Dust Lands, Book 3) — Saba leads a group of guerrillas against DeMalo and the Tonton, all while contemplating DeMalo’s invitation to join him in building a New Eden.

I Am The Mission / Allen Zadoff (The Unknown Assassin, Book 2) — Teen assassin Boy Nobody is sent on a mission to assassinate the head of a domestic terrorism cell, but his mission turns up more questions about his job than answers.
