Welcome back to another school year, and even more opportunities to participate in the Great Scavenger Hunt Contest!

Kay Cassidy, author of The Cinderella Society, has put together a great reading contest, with participation from some of the best young adult authors. Over 200 authors have created a 10-question trivia challenge for one or more of their books — all you have to do is read the book and answer some questions! If you get at least 8 questions right, Mr. Bateman will submit your name in the contest.

Every month, Kay chooses one lucky hunter as the winner. Winning hunters receive a $50 gift card to the bookstore of their choice to use for whatever their heart desires. Fun, fast, simple plus free prizes. It doesn’t get any better than that!

For a list of all the contest books at the Academy Library (over 100), visit the Academy Library Catalog and search for “Scavenger Hunt Contest”. Or you can just click here. All the books are on display at the front of the library; browse the selection and read whichever you’d like. Don’t forget to ask for the trivia challenge at the front desk!
