  • CA’s KG Norris is peaking at the right time for the Braves

When KG Norris left the Section 5 girls alpine skiing sectional meet, she thought her season was over. Later that night she got word from Braves head coach Wade Sarkis that it wasn’t time to put away her poles yet — she had one more high school race left. (By Bryan Sullivan, Messenger-Post)

  • ICE HOCKEY: Braves rally for win over Blue Devils

After the Blue Devils opened up with an early 1-0 lead, Victor and CA slugged it out on defense until a D.J. Goldstein goal tied things up mid-way through the third period. Then, with the final seconds ticking off the clock, Goldstein got his second goal of the night, firing the puck into the net as the final whistle blew. Final score: 2-1 Braves. Congratulations to all the teams and all the athletes who work so hard to be the best at what they do on the court, track, ice and slopes!
