Every year, the Young Adult Library Services Association (YALSA), a branch of the American Library Association (ALA), announces its picks for the Best Fiction for Young Adults (Teens).

For more than 10 years, CA Library has been using this list to build our collection, adding titles as needed to ensure a wide range of high quality fiction for teens.
